Browser play is here!

A desktop pet is not ideally played in a browser - the name kinda says it all. But if you want to get a sense for Idlewood Outpost before installing it you can now give it a spin! We've slapped a fake desktop on to remind everyone how it's supposed to be played, but other than have the little heroes literally march across your task bar the game is exactly the same, whether in browser or as a download. You be the judge!

Also new:

We've worked on the equipment system a fair bit. There's now more variety in the gear, the sprite icons better indicate the item type and heroes have a finite set of slots - so they can only equip one item per slot type (one weapon, one helmet, etc). We know, its weird that the Wizard can equip an Iron Helmet, Bronze Buckler and Warhammer, but we haven't gotten to class-based restrictions just yet ;)

Heroes are also not as idle anymore! They will now train (increased XP rate), work for some gold or go around looking for monsters - or just speak their mind. That's right, a basic dialog system has made its way in.

Keep in mind this is all still super early, but let us know what you want to see added/removed/tweaked etc.
